14k Gold-filled

“Gold-filled” is a US industry standard that legally requires 1/20th, or 5% pure gold by weight. This results in a high quality gold product.

It is a more economical choice than solid gold but still a great option. Because of the way the solid gold sheets are bonded to the outside of the jewellers brass, gold filled pieces can be worn for years and will not tarnish or loose their gold colour. 

925 Sterling silver

925 sterling silver jewelry is made with 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper, zinc or nickel. The silver is mixed with another metal due to the natural softness of pure silver. To make functional jewelry that will last and not break, an alloy must be created.
